Hey everybody . . . get DOWN!

https://www.speedwood.com/store/index.php?sku=doen&cat=cds

It's not too early to get DOWN!

The new album from Lost And Found is available for pre-order.

(And arrives before Dec. 25th too.)

We can't adequately express how pleased we are to bring you DOWN: An entire 17-song album of nothing but ballads, slow songs, quiet tunes, mellow music, you know the soft stuff.

Though we do still have some concerts scheduled in December, we won't be bringing the people DOWN at concerts until January, 2014.  But if you want to get DOWN sooner, you can pre-order it here and we will ship it to you to arrive before St. Nicholas drops down your chimney.

Want to bring a friend DOWN while you're at it?  We're offering a special rate for those who want to Double DOWN.  Get a reduced rate when you buy more than one copy.

Plus, we've decided to add a couple more options as well.
Now you can get DOWN with the lyrics and chords, and even bring your entire congregation DOWN!

There are so many ways to get DOWN, we think you'll agree.

But in the meantime, we hope you have a great Thanksgiving, and that we'll see you at a concert sometime in the coming months.

If you don't see a concert near you at our website, give us a call at 419.897-9792, or send us an e-mail at LostAndFoundConcert@gmail.com

We're always looking for new places to play, and chances to be reunited with folks in places where we've played in the past.

HOORAY!!! You Did It!

As our friends down south might say, Y'all are awesome!

Thanks to all who supported our Kickstarter campaign.

The whole reason we used Kickstarter was to assess whether there was an interest in a CD of just our ballads.  As it turns out, there is just such an interest!  Or, at least there is just such an interest from a few hundred people it seems.

We're going to start recording next Monday, and the CD's will be shipped in early December.  At some point before then, we'll collect all the included names using Kickstarter "surveys," and at some other point will release the name of the actual CD . . . you know, once we know the answer ourselves.

Those who missed Kickstarter but still want to preorder can do so at our website

And meanwhile, we offer you all this little thank you gift.

Like we said, Y'all are awesome!!!

Surprise!

That was a fast year, huh?

Actually, it's only been a couple weeks, don't worry.

But we figured we should write a little post here and let you know that we have in fact decided to throw it out to The People to decide whether or not to do an album of ballads.  In other words, we've launched a Kickstarter project by means of polling listeners.

If you're a person who wants an album of just our slow songs, click HERE and make your voice heard.

If you're a person who does not was an album of just our slow songs, click here and rock on.

Remember Us?

So, some people have a daily blog; others have a weekly blog, or even monthly blog.  We, however outdo them all . . .

Welcome, my friends, to the ANNUAL BLOG!

Really don't have much to say, but figured we'd better say something.  (We really ought to run for office, right?)

But the reason you rarely hear from us in this space is because we've long ago started using Facebook as the method of talking about the mundane activities of our daily lives.  (We really ought to run for office, right?)  If you want to follow along on our touring travels, you can do so at the Facebook link.  Word on the street is, you don't even have to join Facebook to subscribe to that page.  But, hey, who trusts the street word, right?

Oh, and one other thing:

We're thinking of giving the people what they want (as The Kinks might say), and so we're considering making an album of Nothing But Ballads.  As in, All The Slow Songs.  As in, Getting Our Manilow On.

However, we don't want to get ourselves backed into a corner of Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time.  So we're thinking we might turn to Kickstarter to fund the project.  That way, if enough people really want to have 20 something Lost And Found ballads in their CD collection, the project will fund itself.  And, if we're going to lose our shirts (which NOBODY wants to see, believe me), then the thing simply won't happen and we'll all breathe a sigh of relief.  (We should run for office, right?)

Anyway, if we do decide to try Kickstarter, we'll break our ANNUAL BLOG pace and post something here probably as soon as a month from now.

(Apologies in advance for the breakneck pace if that does in fact occur.)

Meantime, you just go and rock on with your bad self, okay?

George
